Blaque Dynamite began playing the drums at the early age of 2. Since then, he has learned to adapt to many styles of music, has studied theory intensely as well as practiced 16,862 hours! He was formally introduced to jazz at the age of 14, which spurred his passion for the genre. By the age of 17, he had performed/toured with Kamasi Washington, Chrisette Michele, Derrick Hodge, Gerald Clayton, Antonio Hart, Spirit Fingers (formerly known as The Polyrhythmics), Seven Davis Jr., and the legendary Stanley Clarke.

Jarreau Williams is known around the DMV as “the man with the golden pipes.” A vocal powerhouse and charismatic showman, the Alexandria, VA native is a 5-time Wammie award winner; most recently in 2023 for “Best R&B/Soul Artist”. He has opened for diverse artists such as Grammy award winners The Bros. Landreth, Sir Woman, and Oh He Dead. Jarreau’s most notable credits include backing 5-time Grammy award winner Michael Buble and singing in the presence of President Barack Obama and the First Family. A strong advocate for mental health, Williams released his latest song “Fear” in October 2023 as a Thriller-esque anthem to imposter syndrome and depression. His rhythmic style and songwriting has been compared to Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Alexander O’Neal, and Usher.
